Employment (F/T, P/T, Reserve, ect.)

I am aware OCSO has been under a hiring freeze for some time now. Does anybody know when this could be lifted? I'm not familiar with the local political/budget aspects of Okeechobee County. I am already certified and looking to start somewhere (as you know the job market is terrible) I would even be interested in Reserve/Auxiliary. Can anyone comment on this? Thank You!

I am interested in OCSO. Will they sponsor non-certified at the academy? Do they pay while trainees are at the academy? What are the shifts like? What hours? Do deputies rotate shifts monthly? Is there a lot of micro-managing going on or does the brass leave you alone as long as you do your job? I am interested in the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thanks for the info.
