View Full Version : police officer (non-certified)
Good Evening everyone! I have a question, upon getting hired as a non-certified Police Officer, do you get a paycheck and classes paid from the city or does the city only pay for your classes? Your replies will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
Yes the city will pay while you get certified. However you will get special treatment if you know somebody within the department ! I just skipped the line in City Hall to drop off my application :)
I spent over one hour in line for nothing. The clerk did not take my application just gave me a hassle.

You were probably missing something.. Because most people were able to turn them in.
A lot of other people got turned away though for missing items, not having the correct score on cjbat, etc.
The way i look at it, if you didn't take the effort to fully understand what is needed and/or required, then you shouldn't even be applying.
I took everything they asked , but they turned me down. It had something to do with my name; "Frank Gonzalez". I assured them they were confusing me with someone else, but they said they were not going to take any chances.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is too funny!
