why is that i read articles all over the place and hear and see things in other departments, that since were under these huge budget constraints and cuts, there elimanating top rank positions and not filling supervisors ranks when retirements happen? Yet here at fmpd we keep adding. another new sgt position created, lets just keep adding. Chief and 4 captains? for an agency our size we should have a no more than 3 at the top one chief and 2 captains or one chief dep chief and a captain. lets start saving money at the top instead of the bottom.
