Rumor 1 involves the contract that was recently voted on. Since we do not have the official results (it is after all the Teamsters we are dealing with...and they are being voted out of New Smyrna and Daytona Beach). But the rumor was they were going to go the county and get the deputies a 5% raise to make up for the upcoming 5% loss in FRS.
Rumor 2 involved the county manager being so perturbed that the county employees he is leading are getting the 5% cut that he was going to give back his $75,000.00 raise he got this year.
Rumor 3 was that the yearbooks ordered 2 years ago would be delivered before print was obsolete.
