Special detail cap: Good or bad idea?

Lets try and keep this topic as constructive as possible. I hope to have a little insight on your thoughts without TOU violations, followed by the inevitable locking of the thread. I am kinda on the fence on this one and see valid points for both sides.

Does the cap make things fair for everyone or does it give less motivated people an easier chance at grabbing a detail :?:

300 is too little and the cap should be in the neighborhood of 500..300 will only carry us until June and then they'll have to open it up anyways.
