What is up with shake up? The two new hires sure but the rest?

It's all apart of Sheriff Hall's new strategy called "Preparation H." Really? Shake up? What shake up? Sgt J wanted d-2. Sgt S wanted D-4. Deputy H wanted D-5. DSTs Perkins and Ross got assigned where they were needed. Looks like they all got what they wanted. Shake up? Only thing shaking is in your gourd.

Who is getting transferred??? Where? When? Wtf? Oh my!

Its a diabolical plot that's what it is!

For the admin supporters now explain "temporary transfers", a 20 year dispatcher "separating", and the wonderful moral building this is designed to produce? I know, it supposed to bolster the Christmas spirits, and yes, my interview for a neighboring county is next week.

The temp transfers are because 158 went to OCSO and 169 got promoted. That leaves a Sgt and a deputy in D1 and a Sgt and 2 deputies in D2. Which boils down to no one being able to take leave, due to being short handed. A Sgt is already covering both eves and mids in D1, due to the mids Sgt being out for an injury. So do some research before you start stirring the pot. As far as the dispatcher leaving, ask her why she is leaving. Maybe she has a better oppurtunity. Sheba left after numerous years of service. Not because of a morale issue but because things changed in her life. I'm embarrased by the ignorance of these posts. You complain about morale and all you do is try and bring it down.

Could it possibly be that sometimes, guest, just sometimes that the people who run this agency know what the heck they are doing? This post is clearly an indicator of the total intelligence quota of the SO. First poster is confused, the rest are guilty of the very thing they accuse the first poster of, bashing his fellow deputies. I read this blog to reinforce the truth about the people that this agency contains. Admin supporters combined with "holier than thou" attitudes which only perpetrate the continuance of the system that is already in place. I believe the common phrasing is contained in the country song "red necks and white socks". So continue on with the fifth grade discussions so my entertainment bills will remain low.

I too am leaving!!! I too am leaving the sheriff's office. My uniforms will be washed and folded, gear and equipment cleaned and packed neatly into a box; my car is going to be be cleaned and ready for the next deputy. Yessir, I'll be all gone. No more deputy sheriff, no more politics, no more bashing people who are bashing people for bashing people, no more admin, no more nothing!! Sucks though that Im not ready to retire or I would leave now but since I'm not leaving I'm going to hang around for a while. :snicker:

The transfers are just temporary to fill slots vacated because of injuries or people leaving.
For all who are going other places to work, good luck. Nomatter where you go, each place has it share of problems. No place is perfect.
Every one be safe, we lost another Deputy in Orange County a few days ago. Killed on a traffic stop. Stop bashing each other, we need to pull together. Life is too short for all this.
