Who ever said Star and Shield insurance is so great, they can kiss my a.... I called and they couldn't cover my homeowners. State farm was cheaper. Just another joke.

I called today and my auto insurance dropped from 830 to 528. Same exact coverage and they include the rider insurance for the police car.

+1 On they saved me money. Homeowners with S&S was $650 a yr cheaper and lower deductible. Cars about the same,just wife and I no young kids,clean history. Did you have wind inspection done recently and have a copy of report? Cost about $60 to have one done. Having that only will get you all available discounts and save you $$$. Nothing but 5 star rating in every review I've read. Good luck with State Farm if you ever need them,pure garbage and I'm speaking from experience after 2005. Just a little FYI

The Hartford works for me. Got my home and auto insurance (http://aarp.thehartford.com/Auto-Insurance/) through AARP which has tied up with The Hartford for special deals for members.

Screw Snake farm. I saved 2000.00 for one year of auto. Switched to Star & Shield. Used Allstate and homeowners went from 5700.00 to 1400.00 Snake farm raised me 1700.00 this. Stupid me did not realize I got raised over the past couple years.

I agree with the last poster. Everyone should drop State Farce. They lied to me to get my business and then didn't provide the discounts they promised. Right, Kim Nava????
