Duty Security Officer

Are Duty Security Officers required to use the Glock 22 or can your current duty weapon be used if you are hired to work at a Federal Court House? I already qualify annually with my Glock 30 for the Sheriffs Office I work for!

The position you are refering to is a Court Security Officer. It is a position through a private security company that is contracted by the USMS. You will be required to carry their issued weapon, the Glock 22. If you currently work for a SO or other LE agency you can forget about the CSO position, as it is full time.
