Did we get screwed on the DROP program? I heard that they cut the rate from 6.25% to 3% on the return.

ok like we make much more then djj. friend of mine left probation in 2001 when he made 34k as a cpo he now makes 59k take home as a deputy you do the math. he has had years he made over 75k with o/t etc. my friend has been in lots of special units has had over 3 new cars issued to him since 2001 and he loves the change for obvious reasons.

and your point is what exactly? We know the pay sucks and there is no need to remind us on a daily basis. I'm thankful to have a job that pays my bills and so should you. If you don't like the pay, leave the department and take a job at your local sheriff's office. What ever you decide, quit the bemoaning of your current situation.

:roll: :roll: OK but you know that applies to the locals also and the fund wasnt even brinnging that much in each year so of course it was destined to get reduced.
