Tony Fontana was a founding member of FOP 20. He served Miami Officers in the FOP. In the State House of Representatives, and after retiring, he kept FOP 20 informed of laws that would impact police officers. You enjoy the rights we have as cops when the head hunters are after you, Tony worked for years to get the Officer's Bill of Rights passed. Services are this Monday at 1100 hrs at Vista Memorial. Viewing is in The state Capital this Sunday. Show up Monday to show respect for one who never stopped working , for our betterment. Never

I think the service is Wednesdays the 3rd.

President Emeritus Fontana was a great guy who would tell anyone exactly what he was thinking (usually with a curse or two). He is also credited for instituting the 1% fund that we all enjoy today. He will be missed, rest in peace.
