Does anyone know how much longer it may take to start hiring again? Are the buyouts going to open spots for new deputies? Are people taking the buyouts? any truthful information would be appreciated.

First, the buy-outs will allow us to clean house of a lot of useless and wasteful personnel. Next, we are going to look at all the double-dippers and connect the dots on a great number of people that our current sheriff and the former sheriff hired and/or promoted to return political favors or who "knew where the bodies were buried" so to speak or needed to carry another loser. These useless people and the useless 'make busy' positions they are parked in will then be eliminated and, hopefully, remain free to live life but may be deposed to get into a much larger ugly mess. Then, all of the mini-dynasties that exist for favors and pay-backs will be crushed and the people reassigned and told to go to work.....many will run and hide at such a threat as the work word and they will leave through humiliation and embarrassment. Then, with a common sense restructuring, the Agency will be left with a rather clean scouring and effectiveness of people in it for all the right reasons. The budget cuts will have been easily resolved by that time and the public will begin to see a cleaner, neater attitude of service and respect.

Yes but the current sheriff (Ric Bradshaw) and Colonel Fogman Gauger must be the very first to go. Then a new culture of integrity and fairness may begin and we will not recognize this place. Almost Heaven! Serving People! Equal opportunities for transfers and promotions. Yes!!
