Just a quick note to say thanks to Taylor S O for the Deputy's helping Dixie County out during this time, due to the tragic loss of Captain Chad Reed.

Was he the only deputy they had that another county had to jump in?

To the person asking if "he" was the only deputy there? I take it you are not a Law Enforcement Officer, because you would understand that when a co-worker that you've worked along side of has been killed in a high profile crime as this incident, you would see that emotions could run high if a situation came up that had to be handled in another shoot or dont shoot situation.But to answer your insensitive question, this is a small department and when you figure in the Captain being killed, and three deputies returning fire and placed on admin leave untill the investigation is complete,there is somewhat of a shortage of manpower.
