118th Assignments????

The new class in the academy took the exam. What are their assignments?? Anyone???

It came out in email, try reading yours...Five went to Tallahassee they sure do need the help up there. What a joke. I'm working 6-8 crashes a day and they need 5 in Leon County? Those guys are lucky to work one a day. The BS that comes out of Tallahassee is just amazing...

6 heading to Pasco

I think they were all assigned to the state of Florida!

most of the class going to Orlando and Miami.
5 going to H in Leon
Few going to C in Pasco/Hillsborough
Few going to L in Davie
3 going to K in Ft. Pierce
5 going to K in Broward

Most of the class got what they wanted except one poor guy got put in Glades county all by himself.

I think they were all assigned to the state of Florida!

When is Tallahassee going to wake up and distribute troopers / supervisors where they really need them. There are places that are really hurting and then there are places like troop H that is not. How can you justify sending 5 troopers to Leon? Thats more people that is on an entire squad in my area. We can not meet minimum staffing each day and leave time is impossible.

I don't know for sure about distribution...but I wonder if the Leon spots are Operation Effort people (people guaranteed their position before the academy). However, if they are sending full BRC people I would be surprised.

None of the recruits going to Tallahassee are Operation Effort Troopers that were guaranteed a certain location when hired. 1+ years of Law Enforcement experience.
