Dexter the black man
was a jolly happy soul
with captain bars and a big braod nose
and two eyes made out of coal
Dexter the black man
is a fairytale they say
he was made of racial prejudice
but the officers know
how he is here to screw whitey
There must have been some magic
In that old black hag of a chief
Cause she promoted him
without him knowing anything
So he began to dance around

was alive as he could be

he could laugh and play
