$5000 is their CAD money. You obviously are not a Trooper or you'd know what CAD is and that Davie is in Broward County which is a county that gets CAD. Without the $5000 CAD, the Lieutenant's base salary is around $58-59,000.

FHP is more concerned about coming up with new cutsie details and collecting stats (not sure for who) than doing something about our salaries. All those stats arrive in Tallahassee and get put in a filing cabinet. What a waste of time.

How many different Colonels and GHQ staff do you want to pin this on? It has never been about the FHP getting us a raise; it has ALWAYS been about your and mine legislators in Tallahassee not doing the right thing by us and the citizens of Florida. Get with the program!

I make 76k a year as a uniform patrol officer plus off duty jobs in a medium size department north of Atlanta, GA. I am a master officer with no supervisory duties other than the occasional FTO and only 9 years on the job.
