Hello all, just a question to any LEO's in the area. I am trying to find a reputable/good/will work with LEO's MMA/grappling school in the East Hillsborough/Plant City area. I work for another agency, live out here. Trained at different striking based martial arts most of my life, as I get older would like to work more in the grappling/groundfighting area (I think we all discover its' more practical for our jobs).
What I am trying to avoid are the muscleheads or any school where when they find out your a cop its' open season to let the advanced folks run roughshod over you. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind hard workouts, getting pushed hard and stepping up a class of fighter occasionally, jut want to find a place that works with and for us.
If you have any suggestions, please put them out there.
