Isn't this the type of stuff the FOP should get involved in? I thought Unions were there to ensure fairness in the workplace.

if you read your policy, you would find in there that interviews are not required for lateral transfers. Interviews are only required for promotions.

No interviews for lateral transfers ?? Job #1 for the FOP shouldve been to review ALL S.O.P.'s and ensure that they represented fairness across the board. Stop paying dues people until we start to see some results !!! We shouldv'e have to "have a face" to a complaint. Don't preach the no victim no crime b.s. to me. If you see an unfair practice it should be addressed ...period. Thats what I thought the dues were paying for.

If no money is involved than they can move you where ever they want....
