sweetwater reserve

how you guys doing im a full firefighter/paramedic and an EMS instructor, i was wondering what i would have to do to become a reserver officer for sweetwater. Mind you i am not certified as an LEO but have lived in the sweetwater area for many years and would like to give back to the community. Please any information will be greatly appreciated.

HEY BUDDY THE FIRST THING YOU SHOULD KNOW IS THAT IN ORDER TO BE A RESERVE OFFICER ANYWHERE, YOU HAVE TO PASS THE ACADEMY 770 HRS AND THEN PASS THE STATE EXAM. IF YOU PASS ALL THAT THEN YOU CAN APPLY FOR THE POSITION OF CERTIFIED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OR RESERVE OFFICER. RESERVE OFFICERS NEED TO HAVE THE SAME QUALIFICATIONS AS FULL TIME OFFICERS.
