As a Florida Trooper I worked at a sobriety checkpoint 09/11/2009 in North Miami. A driver in the checkpoint line said he didn't have his South Carolina DL with him and provided his name/DOB. My in-car computer NCIC showed his information out of SC but the format was difficult me to interpret. I called SCHP and spoke with a dispatcher who was able to help me determine the driver had never had a driver's license but only had an identification card. One more in jail and off the street. Thanks again for the assist.
