Are there jobs or not?

I have been researching the application process for the PBSO and wanted to apply but after reading about the hiring freeze and not seeing any available jobs on the web site (aside from chaplain) i am wondering if there will even be any jobs this year...or next....

I want to be in law enforcement in PB county and would like to know the best path to take..

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Nothing that I've heard of right now. Try to find a job that is in the State retirement (High Risk). This way when you finally get over here, your time you put in elsewhere will count towards your retirement.
