HALL GAINS/GIFTS DISCLOSED?
Today at 4:09am Reportedly Wendell Hall and a female may have attended a professional football game via an employee of Aramark, a vendor supposedly utilized by the Sheriff's Office. If this was indeed a gift, it was not disclosed on any of Hall's disclosures submitted to the Commission on Ethics. It is not certain if the female was his (is it 4th? or maybe even 5th?) wife, the former Karen Berrian, who I seem to recall worked for Tom Stewart's catering business before being hired at Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office. She now reportedly works for Sprint/Nextel.
Wendell's actions in Karen's hiring are being questioned along with an e-mail she supposedly later sent Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office employees regarding upgrading communication devices via what is reportedly her current employer.
Can you believe Karen may have used her business to send such an e-mail???
Now THAT seems wrong. I think this needs a closer look to ensure he is not gaining personally through her efforts to upgrade at the Sheriff's Office. Will try to post that e-mail from her to Sheriff's Office employees soon so you can judge for yourself.
