Can a chief have an arrest past?

My chief was arrested as an adult. He was arrested for dis conduct and resisiting without. He got convictions on both and his record says Credit Time Served. Would this be possible at Miami-Dade PD? Do you have any command staff members that have ever been 39ed?

As long as it is not a felony or misd dv or perjury you can be a po in any dept in Florida. As far as getting hired its all about who you know.

Interim Chief was arrested. He is also covered head to toe in tats. I think you guys have been to his house a number of times ref. DV. He is a real winner!

lol... i remember being dispatched to his house. Loud tv in his back yard. I remember seeing him and saying, "who's this clown." and as soon as i'm thinking this, he says,"hey guys I'm School PD Chief." LMAO. Then school pd wonder why that department is in the crapper. be safe guys

LOL, speaking of which, I was dispatched to his house in reference of a residential silence alarm. I remember arriving on scene and saw him come outside with his school police badge. I knew from prior calls to his residence that the midget down the road was him. I told him why didn't he call the alarm company back and he gave me a lame excuse his cell phone running out of batteries and not being able to find his charger. What a dumb nut, seriously. I should have him a false alarm notice.

Be careful with this clown. He was pulled over by a Trooper ref traffic and almost got into a fight with the guy.At the time dumb butt Chief Gerry Darling intervened and got him a pass. It may be the steroids he's on. Just be careful. Roid rage can be dangerous.

Darling also got pulled over by a trooper for speeding but didn't show his ass.
