UNIVERSITY POLICE EXEMPT FROM 2% PAY CUT

How can this occur? The University Police are in our bargaining unit. I thought if one agency benefited, we all benefited? How come the legislature can exempt them from getting their salaries cut like us? I guess since they are University employees, they lucked out.

We had our own bargaining unit at FSUPD...we weren't on the state one.
