wow big headed arrogant fool who can't spell. Good job county

I've never met a city officer who didn't want to work for MDPD and they don't b/c they couldn't get hired for some reason or another. You will never see a city guy say hi to a brown guy. It's jealousy or something. Besides Opa-Locka and MGPD who else deals with real criminals? Not you Pinecrest, Coral Gables, Doral, Sunny Isles, Surfside....and so on. I rest my case, jealousy is a Mo-Fo.

03-08-2010, 04:19 PM
Hey Fuggie boy, if i wanted to get hired by the brown clowns I would of done it. So don't seat here and start talking shizzat about other PD's. Me as a city cop was the first one replying to the first post. So go fuggie urself and by the way I do say hi to any cop that I see not like some of u guys. Go be a cop first u rookie and then come back and talk more shizzat. Be safe.

City cop is still jealous. We all know his type, if he wasn't in uniform he would look like a criminal. City cop is the guy that will "bro" you to death in a conversation.

To the rest of us who are real officers, blue, green, or brown...be safe. No matter where you are this is Dade County.

03-13-2010, 12:42 AM
Hey, bud your HQ is in mine. Hardy har har!

AND THAT MEANS WHAT...? JUST BECAUSE HQ IS IN DORAL DONT MEAN CRAP.....DARE TO 19 A GREEN AND WHITE....

I believe that this forum is for MDPD. If you don't like what is posted here, then get off our board and go back to your own. County brown may not be perfect, but it's a damn sight better than having to work with the likes of you. I feel sorry for your department and you fellow officers. My brothers and sisters in brown may have issues, but I'll work proudly with them at any time, knowing that they are there for me, just as I am there for them. The last thing I need is some middle school little girl calling me and my family names and trying to start something. Your city is in OUR COUNTY. Go away, little girl, and come back when you know what life is all about.

I'll back up any officer I see on a traffic stop regardless of what color their uniform is. I have answered calls, both as primary and as back-up, with officers from Miami Gardens, Hialeah, City of Miami, FHP, Homestead, and Fla City, just to name a few. I have trained with just about every agency in Dade County in the last 19 years. A cop is a cop; the badge is still silver, and all the blood is red.

If you really knew the amount of areas the county still covers even with the 30+ municipalities that exist you would be amazed. All of the municipalities put together counting the City of Miami, which is the largest, doesn't even make up half of the entire county.

Half of what, swamp land? thats all you got west of okee. look at the map dude next time you go to the TGK, DCJ, or the JAC whats left is swamp.

03-24-2010, 05:16 PM
When all these little municipalities go under please don't apply again with the county.

03-25-2010, 04:46 AM
They can't apply to MDPD, thats why they went to a city. Thats why they check the MDPD blogs so much, its envy of what they couldn't achieve or were rejected for. The only city that has ever benefited from it's own police force is the City of Miami, though those benefits are slim as of the past 3 decades.

Thankfully we have pretty city PDs, we all know how violent those rich people get. You know, where a gram of weed and a suspended DL is a good 39.

Hey PD guys, be a little more open minded, the Brown is here to stay and if you weren't too proud you could learn from us.

Tell yourselves what you want, but the county doesn’t have nearly as tuff/difficult a hiring process as most municipalities. The only thing that gets you hired at the county is being the right flavor they are looking for at that time and of course, nice T&A. Look around, any of the little hotties that you hire do a year on the road and go right into a specialized unit to protect them from getting hurt. Most of you guys who have established and distinguished yourselves won’t see specialized unit for years, And don’t fool yourself, soon the only thing left of MDPD will be Court services, the Ghettoes patrols no one wants and the Jail System. Sleep on that.

03-25-2010, 11:55 PM
Average hiring process for the County is 2-3 years. Average hiring process for the city is about 3 days. Let me ask you, do they have the poly and the psych on the boat and then the physical when you reach the keys?

03-26-2010, 12:19 AM
Now that was a good one I second that.

04-14-2010, 08:52 AM
Again product of no good brown clowns lol
Yes the city process is quicker than the county BUT it does not mean it is easier..
The majority of you guys are JOKES, no offense but you can't fix stupid and that is what's wrong with the majority of you forrest gumps.. Your training and the amount of hours spent on your training is excellent! But if you have lazy, no good, slack, retard, arrogant people who just care about who is doing who, where you get .5 and where to 15 for coffee then all the training in the world will not help much or not at all. Pointless.

I tell you this, you are the best department in MANY ways but you are FAR from the best and that is why I wear BLUE ;)

04-14-2010, 09:46 AM
Hey city guy how is that back pay thing going for you guys? How about that pension stabilization? That is why I wear brown. What can brown do for you? It can keep your checking balance in the plus.

04-15-2010, 06:22 AM
What can brown do for you..?
I tell you what brown can do for me..
MAKE ME LAUGH

04-15-2010, 10:07 AM
Laugh all you want at least we are getting a 13% pay raise over the next 18 months. That is what brown does for us.

04-15-2010, 07:24 PM
You wear blue out of default. Everybody knows the first choice around here is the Brown. Stop hating and get off our boards and instead of spewing your idiocy go learn to write a report and remind your chief that barely speaks english that you need evidence to arrest people. Had to be embarrassing watching the state attorney slam you guys in the press for being idiots.

04-16-2010, 07:33 PM
Oh snap.

No brown gown clown, this is MIAMI-dade county. You guys think you great cause you big. But if that were true, why did Pinecrest, Adventure, Miami Gardens, Sunny isles, Doral, ALL fire MDPD as their police dept. and are paying MORE Taxes to form their own P D ? Why was the Public Safety dept. your old name" the second to last to get hand held radios in MIAMI-dade county? Why did it almost take a decade for the big bad MDPD to go online with AFIS ? And why did Miami have to save your H Q on 14 st. in 1980, saving over 25 detectives LIVES? Yeah, I know, that was many years ago, but it doesn't change the facts does it brown gowned clown. And issuing 6 shot revolver for duty weapons? LMAO. You folks are ALWAYS playing catch up to the rest of the depts in MIAMI-dade county. But the Nazi storm trooper brown uniforms are neat. Sorry, that's a lie, just trying to throw you a bone.

Every agency has its good, bad and ugly. Luckily most officers don't get caught up in the "us vs them"
mentality and work well with those on other agencies. It is interesting when historical references are used and seldom correct. In 1980, MPD did not rescue our HQ and it's personnel (25 + detectives).

When the riot broke, we all had significant issues we were addressing. Our HQ was asking for 3-15s. We responded and formed up at the "old" city station parking lot; both County and City officers (it did not matter to any of them who they worked for). As the emergency calls for back up from HQ continued (every police car, marked or unmarked, around the justice complex were damaged, overturned and/or on fire) MPD advised they were waiting for SWAT before moving to recover the Justice Complex. A County Sgt advised they could not wait any longer, so a joint plan was taken with MPD taking the street in front of the Justice Building and the County units on scene taking the Justice Building, the Jail then HQtrs building. When sniper fire erupted from Cedars parking garage, MPD SWAT arrived and responded into the garage. Then a combined MPD-County skirmish line formed on NW 14 street and moved east and drove the protestors back to NW 12 Ave. I was there.

A lot of brave officers, from both departments responded to a call for help during the outbreak of one of the worst riots in Miami's history. There was not time for this petty bickering about how great one's agency is vs another. Another great example was Friday night when an MDPD officer was brutally attacked; MPD, MDPD and many other departments worked closely together to respond to this tragic event.

That God for the officers who focus their energy on the criminals and not other law enforcement officers!

It is sad when it takes a old fart (no offense) to set the story straight. I also heard from old psd guys that are in the drop that the guys in hq were also taking care of business with the armories guns and going hunting and tagging several democrats on the skreets. Of course it was harder to pick them out at night back then without the trend of gold grilz. They for the most part had to wait for a smile or blinking of the eyes like alligators  .

who ever wrote that article is someone who never made it through are process........hey bud, your city is still in my county..... lol
DUDE YOU MEAN "MORON#1 .....dont get me wrong sure city departments might get smaller in officers by lay offs,But atleast they wont loose officers for for chasing a kid who stole beer from a gas shop....you guys do make a difference to the community with your egos.i know theres good cops out there.but not you buddy, suck my ballz.

06-17-2010, 07:24 PM
btw im sure a city cop failed because they actually had proper spelling grammar, right metro#1 ?but yeah no disrespect to the department, just some of the dumbass officers that dont really do there job,and still have ego the size of my ****.

06-18-2010, 01:23 AM
I think the idea of city disbanding there PDs and going back to the county is just rhetoric...I mean, not one city has yet.

09-07-2010, 12:52 AM
As an outsider (but still a cop) you all look like a bunch of morons. What a stupid argument to have between officers. I can understand there being competition between agencies but you all need to grow up for christs sake. I can't wait to see some of the childish replies this gets.

09-09-2010, 01:52 PM

I agree.

And if you look at it by population served, MDPD covers more citizens then all of 32 municipalities put together. We provide all police services to 1,242,422 people. The next biggest department is City of Miami - with slightly less than 1/3 the number of people that MDPD has.
