2. lost of Holiday Options
3. new THV restrictions
4. no new contract

but JM 518 has got a huge smile on his face and his veins are popping back into his forehead

We may be paid the second lowest in the county but we are strong and positive. With good honest work from our leaders we will beat out that lone agency of the top title of lowest paid. Then my friends the sky's the limit. We won't stop until we are the lowest paid in the state.

Maybe it's time you butt munches realize you should have left well enough alone. You've got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em.....LEO's do not hold the trump cards at this time. You take what you can get each contract and in the end it evens itself out. Now arbitration is around the corner and if you think you'll get empathy there, you should be in sex crimes, because you are touching yourself! You are screwed now, but have nobody to blame but yourself.

So let us reflect back on the bashing and slander at 518 and how he was maliciously attempting to screw his subordinates with this contract. It turns out that these malcontents could not have been less accurate with their accusations. When the commission took a hard look at the packet and bigger picture provided to them by that overt traitor 518 and just how far off DBPD had fallen off in starting and top-out pay, among other areas, the City came back to the table with a new perspective and a more judicious offer. Now I've been around this game long enough to know that these same malcontents will likely give credit or place cause elsewhere, rather than admit that they were flat out WRONG and that they need to learn to keep their cancer causing tongue bridled and learn something from this event. Bosses that did the job well and expect competency and effort from other members are not the enemy to the agency. The real enemies are the slugs that want everything without giving anything back. There is a whole generation of badge wearers that would not be in this line of honorable and courageous work 20 years ago. In the event these $hit-stirrers, might have slipped through the cracks and got hired, most of them could not have withstood the accountability they would have been held to by their peers or the ostracism they would have experienced had they been snitches or *****es that could not get the job done! Let us celebrate the signing of this contract and perhaps recapture the consonance we once had for each other in this profession.
