Wow, it's funny that there is an identical question about Sheriff Morgan on the Escambia County Sheriff's page. I guess some people have nothing more productive that they can do with their life than to try and instigate and agitate others.

I am not an LEO, but just who is Chief Mathis. Is he some myth? Anytime anyone from the PPD speaks it is asst Chief Simmons. I for one would like to hear more from the Chief since he is being paid with tax payer dollars.

I didn't chuckle. If that were your son and you knew people were "chucking" would it make you feel good? Whoever Francis is was right; it is tasteless and anyone who would get a laugh out of someone who is developementally delayed doesn't need to be in this business. I feel sure that if the joke were on YOUR son you'd feel the same way.

Fine to laugh with your son, but to tolerate anyone making jokes about a child or adult who is developmentally delayed is wrong; to laugh at him, as you stated you'd do, is intolerable. You don't deserve to be a parent, especially a parent of a child with special needs.

I have a life. I don't think I'd want yours if you find this funny.
