moving to GA

I'm moving to the Statesboro area in about a year. I've been a cop for about 8years and wondering if anyone could tell me about the ageny's in that area. Going to take a big pay cut from what it look's like, but it is what it is. What agency is the best? Is the SO better that the PD as far as the specialty units go? I've always been in proactive type units and want to get into a dept. that I have room to move around.

As for the pay? It's extremely low, but so is the cost of living. I'm guessing you're only moving there because a family member is attending GSU.

Depts? Statesboro PD is a good agency. No specialty dept that u may be looking for, but a good agency.

Bulloch County SO is also a legit agency. They may be more of what you're looking for.

There's no other big towns in that area, so those are your only options.
