Just wanted to send along this note of appreciation to all of our local city police officers in Sarasota. There are still a lot of people out here that appreciate what you men and woman do everyday, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You are always there when we need you and that is a comfortable feeling.
Most people don't take the time to say thank you. But I'm going to say it for them. THANK YOU. Thank you for being there, for being our protectors, for helping us when we are in need. For coming when no one else will.
We know that you feel overworked at times, under appreciated and under paid. But know that your hard work and dedication and desire to serve the public is not unappreciated nor unseen.
Thank you Sarasota Police. Thank you to all those having to work on this Holiday, for being away from their loved ones and families. Because of your sacrifice, we can all be safe in our homes to share with our own families.
Be it in your car, on foot, on your bikes or on the water. God bless you and protect you.
