Whats next?

I interviewed 11/12/08, got fitted for uniforms, photo, fingerprints etc. Does anyone know what happens next? I currently work for the state, so I know its a waiting game. They didn't tell us anything afterwards except ok your done.

73 applicant files were sent within the last few days to investigators for background investigations. Once they are all completed, they will be reviewed by Training staff for final selection. Those who are selected will receive a "Conditional Offer of Employment" letter indicating the county you are being offered a job in and instructions/forms for completing the various medical tests. Letters should go out mid to late Jan.

What about applicants that went thru the process back in June and have been notified their background checks are complete, any word when will they be notified?

All TO's will go out together in Spring.

We just received the list of priority vacancies, so now we can begin to match vacancies with applicants. Letters should go out within a few weeks.

Be smart, think ahead, and whatever you do....do not move for a position with FWC. If they can offer you a position in the county of your choice then hire on. If not, move on.

Can you share the vacant counties ?
