Drug Dealer with Team Lamberti

It was great to see convicted drug dealer Benjamin Bennett (1982 Dealing Cocaine from his marked unit while on duty) in Coconut Creek today wearing his Team Lamberti Shirt. Ben was taking a lead role in Al's campaign and had the pole deputy take measurements regarding signs that he felt were too close to the pole. I am very excited that Al has selected another convicted felon for his team as this along with the Whittington donations are just another example of our “Pride in Service with Integrity”. If Al keeps continues picking all-stars like this we can only imagine the future of our agency.

Let's not forget that he was on duty as a Tamarac Patrolmen when Bennett committed these crimes: armed robbery with deadly weapon and trafficking (multiple counts) AND Lamberti was a "cop" when all this went down so he can't claim that he didn't know.

And I would research the lawsuit Hicks won against BSO. Has to do with corruption, hhhhmmmm, sound familiar!

Not only did Lamberti have a CONVICTED drug dealer at the Coconut Creek polling location but a week ago it was announced that Lamberti had accepted campaign contributins from a convicted drug trafficer from the 1980's world jet scandal!! Again Lamberti gave his normal answer "I didn't know". Remeber like Bugsy said Ray Hicks was cleared of all charges!! Lambertis connections were CONVICTED!!!!!!!!

Mr Bennett, Team Lamberti thug, also said on LEOAFFAIRS that he has IP address software and threatened posters that he knew who they were? is this true sheriff? if so can you provide the warrant to use this software, not to mention possessing it.

Are your detectives going to investigate as to whether or not he has this software or should FDLE/ SAO get involved again. BSO i'm sure will just cover this up like they did with other cases.

It was a great day at Tamarac PD as I watched Bennett being handcuffed and escorted out of the building by Nick Navarro and his team.

False accusations happen everyday but I have risen above it and really question the motive in reposting anything about me. I serve the Republican Party as a Precinct Committeeman and have done so for years. I am also an active Poll Inspector and have been for years and will continue to campaign and support whom ever I choose. As a Legal Assistant since 1989, I deal with the criminal element on a daily basis much like I did as a Leo in the seventies and
eighties, only I defend them if they are falsely accused and do not arrest them. It should not surprise anyone that false accusations can arise in my line of business.

Are you trying to have people believe that you where falsely accused and convicted of the crimes you served time for? One of the most despicable crimes that a person, no less a LEO, could commit. Are you trying to have people believe that you where not there in support of Lamberti? Do you really think that people that know what took place that day at the C.C. poll don't know that you are not telling the full true here? One last thing after what Lamberti did to you the day after the vote I can't understand why you would still feel a need to protect him. Or do you think that you’re defending your own action, again? You want to spread lies, as always, the truth is the CC Police came to protect the Sheriff's family from political goons of the opposition, and yes, I placed the call to protect the innocent who were in harms way and outnumbered. Whether Sheriff Lamberti knows me, or not, he is still the Sheriff and your crowd cannot change that fact. You continue to attack the innocent and you need to let the truth set you free..you and your kind lost the election.

As for after the election, the Sheriff did his job and the States Attorney did theirs by dismissing the charges I was accused of. If you get a chance, check with Ron and Roger and get a copy of that photo opp with the three of us at the Creek Polls after the cops left.

Arrested five times, all public records so you don’t have to take my word, DM was arrested for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, utter forged instrument, defrauding an innkeeper, disorderly conduct and recommit drug possession.

Lamberti told a civilian in a Starbucks that he was disciplining an employee because of false information that Don Maines gave him. Turns out the sheriff screwed the employee big time. Old news? No. Lamberti opened his mouth in October 2009. The employee is suing.

I supported Lamberti during his run for sheriff. I won’t make that mistake again.

Are u really judging a guy that made a mistake 30 years ago? Are u still bringing up old news? Why? Who are any of u to judge anyone? Police officers are human too and are allowed to make mistakes. Im sure when they do, they have to pay for their actions with very harsh consequences. Once they serve their time and pay their debt to society why do u still feel the need to talk trash?

I know a deputy that made a bad mistake and he was fired and served 5 years of felony probation. He was let off after three years because of his exemplary behavior while on probation. He turned his life around and is doing very well. Would u also talk trash about him? I guess people are not allowed to make mistakes according to u perfect LEO officers, huh? This guy should be commended for turning his life around and quietly paying his debt to society but according to u he should be trashed for the rest of his natural born life. Just remember one thing sir, you are not perfect and karma is a wonderful thing. Have a nice life and keep your head down when out on those mean streets. There are bad guys out there that probably like u less than I do.

A typo is a mistake. Cheating on your wife is a stupid mistake. Selling cocaine to high school students is a crime. Planning an armed robbery is an unforgiveable crime. Ben, you cannot even claim youthful indiscretion for these acts. The damage people like you do to Law Enforcement professionals can never be excused or forgiven.

I have never claimed to be perfect. Three and a half years in prison gives a person time to reflect on the past. I served time with State Troopers, City Cops, Deputies and State Correction Officer's and a few politicans. Kind of makes you humble being in C Wing of Florida State Prison with inmates who have 999 years to life.

This May I will return to that Unit with a handful of Church ministers for three days to share the love of Christ with them. They could care less about the Sheriff's campaign and who I supported, or the false allegations and arrest I faced, which were dismissed, the night of the election...Sheriff Lamberti personally never asked me to help his campaign and did not appoint me to his, " Team Lamberti". I managed that on my own.

And how that came about? It is Public record that my States Civil Rights were restored in Feb 89. I am active in the Republican Party and with the Supervisor of Elections having worked the election polls since 1990. Public record will show I was Licensed as a Class C Private Investigator and Owned a Class A Agency and a Class D Security Officers License and a SI ( Security Instructor) License. A Felony Conviction does not prohibit anyone from holding Public Office or from serving the Republican or Democratic Party. Whoever is trying to connect the dots between myself and the Sheriff, I just did it for you...we are both Christians, and Republicans.

It may alarm some on LEO that I have more friends in Law Enforcement then I had when I was a LEO. I was A "Top Cop" in 1982 because I did the job, but was consumed with it and thought I was above it. I paid a high price. No more. As for the re-visit coming up in May, to C-Wing at Florida State Prison, I personally invite any LEO to join me so you can kind of get a feel for what it is like to be disgraced behind bars. No this guy is still a problem in society. He has been claiming, working and collecting money by saying he is a private investigator. He also has shown his BSO badge to people letting them assume he is a deputy because he uses "cop talk" Well someone looked into his background and found out that he is NOT a PI but he does have an expired security guard license AND the state has filed charges against him this year, 2010.
So within the last 2 years he has been arrested for molesting a child and has had other charges against him for pretending to be a PI!
So no, this guy is still breaking the law! once a felon-always a felon!
