I am trying to find out who I need to speak with regarding a company that transports Mobile Homes. I am asking due to the fact the company I am speaking about does not have any license info on the side of their trucks, and on Monday night they were moving what I would classify as an oversize load into my community after 9 p.m. They also did not have an escort vehicle with them Monday. Any info on whom to speak with regarding this would be appreciated.

I would say call your local DOT field office, but im not sure where you live. So call our Headquarters in Tallahassee at 850-245-7900, tell them where you are talking about and they can direct you to a local field office number.

Well, this company is still moving these mobile homes into my community, and they still do not have escort vehicles, nor any type of license numbers on their tractors. I live in Davie(Broward County) and have tried calling the 850 # above. They just gave me a runaround. If anyone could post a # for South Fla., I would appreciate it, and yes, I will call, and have no problems with giving a name and # for contact.

To the original poster.

Nothing is going to stop those Palma Nova trailers from coming into your precious mobile home park. Davie's 50 year master plan does not include mobile home parks and that was confirmed by the Mayor himself. Time to find a home that can't be towed by a truck.
