Daniel Carley, Sr., 61, born in Bradenton, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2008. He was a member of St. John First Baptist Insti-tutional church. He retired from Law Enforcement after 39 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Carley of Ellenton; sons, Daniel Jr., Terye and George of Bradenton, daughter, Emoni Carley of Ellenton; brother, John Henry Carley of Palmetto, 2 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Marylou Carley of Spencerport, New York, Shirley Carley and Vickki (Isaiah Jr.) Kelley, both of Palmetto, and Betty West of Sarasota. Visitation will be Friday, August 15 at St. John First Baptist Institutional church 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The service will be on Saturday, August 16 at 11:00 am at the Church, 1108 29th Street East, Palmetto; Rev. F. D. Brown officiating. Internment at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton. Chandler's Funeral Chapel of Sarasota is in charge of arrangements.
