what's the deal with these deputy's kids?

These kids are just down right rotten kids.. It doesn't matter who there parents are. I guess this kid just wanted to play cops and robbers. Maybe when he grows up he'll be better..

these kids are making the agency look really bad . Its giving all LEO's a black eye. Stuff like this makes the public not appreciate LEO's . They think we are above the law, including are families. I believe every workplace has bad apples but the majority of us (LEO) take pride in what we do with integrity. And have families that wouldn't disappoint us in the public.

The real reason law enforcement children get into trouble is because of lack of attention. In many respects the children lack supervision even when they are adults because their parents do not provide the attention the children needed when they were much smaller. The precursor to having children become 'attention getters' is based on this anomaly, which now seems to carry forward some rebellious tenancies that are without regard for their parents.

While we focus on bad parenting, one must also consider that costs are much higher than they once were. Many families have increased their workload and have less time to spend with their families because of it. Children are left to decide life in ways that us older folks do not quite agree, much less truly understand why it is they do what they do.

Once a child is near adulthood, the parents have all but lost what they should have spent more time on - even if it meant they would not make as much money.

Since many of these aspects are treated as phases, the only hope is that they mature from this and that the parents handle their children with the whole reason they started the problems in the first place: attention.

Don't worry fellow officer, "above the law." Many departments are trying to save money and many are taking into consideration about taking the take home car program away. It's just a matter of time, son.
