Ijust heard Hurley is the next Chief. Finally some good news.

Yeah I saw the memo that said Hurley would be watching over the department until the Superintendent could find someone with the listed qualifications to fill the position. I hope we don't have to wait too long.

Actually those are only in house qualifications. the superintendent can keep Hurley. To be honest it would give us more stability than to keep changing.

Thank God that they are only "in house" qualifications. I hope the Superintendent uses his authority to lower those or just ignore them completely in order to keep Hurley. After all the Sup knows what he's doing, he picked Darling didn't he?
