started with 46. 1 guy failed first exam, 3 left at night when peeps were sleepin, 2 left after 2 days of PT

the funding for the guy who post the Recruit pictures has run out. he is at the local Wal-Mart taking pictures for more than the starting Trooper salary

Does the academy allow a re-take/remediation on a failed written exam? Or it the situation if you fail an exam your washed out.

It looks like the FHP website shows the training day to be about 9 hour days on average..

Maybe things are different now. My class did PT at 5:00 AM and the day ended at 5:00PM. And on some occasions, we also continued training in the evenings.

what did you guys do on the weekends to get away from the staff? Ever drive out to Jacksonville and rent a hotel on the beach for the weekend for some R&R....or fly up to Atlanta for the weekend?

Oh God, the next batch of know it alls who don't know crap!

I issued out the MDT's to the 116 BRC and to be honest I was pretty impressed.

One that is gone is a blessing, he would have had a very difficult time in the field.

Only time will tell for the rest. Good Luck 116, see ya in November.

Captain you are honest the one we lost would not have made it. He never was ready when you asked. The Instructors are letting us use the Computers when they can on every section possible. We used it in crime scene section and it was nice. Thanks for getting those computers out as soon as you did. We will have plenty of practice when you get back. Be safe.
