Chief Magill is on the short list at Marco Island PD. What is the skinny on him?

He's an ok guy. He pissed off a lot of the union guys when he fired two officers who Tased a handcuffed prisoner 12 times. They're lucky the guy didn't die. He will never ask you to do something he won't do himself and he ain't afraid to go out and get his hands dirty..

The City Manager makes the appointment not the Department personnel. There are several peopel in the agency qualified (too many actually...), whether they get a shot to prove it or not is to be seen.

What is the deal with him and cameras? Cameras? If you mean the Red Light cameras that was something the Mayor wanted. Other surveillance cameras are being put up in city buildings and property, another city project that police are administering.
