Accreditation

After the utter embarrassment that occurred in Crystal River not long ago, maybe LE command staff will take it more seriously now. IF you don't have the buy in from your people - it will not happen. And, remember it starts from the top with COMMUNICATION!

How can you expect your SLEO's to know anything about the process and why its important for the agency when the DLE website has not been updated in 2 years.

Just an observation.

Remember that accreditation is "black and white" according to the standards and agency policy. If your policy states it, you must follow it!

When your command staff keeps ignoring field questions, then it will only be time before you listen, because the folks coming in from other agencies will have an ear full!
