Leoaffairs=Crying to get things changed

Not crying, exposing the facts as they are! Brutally ugly as they may be. Not until Leoaffairs, did local law enforcement have a forum wherein to uncloak the ugliness and double standards. For example, as is within MPD, about Timoney, his minions and those that inexplicably keep him in office. True, a lot of petty and childish posts are aired, but these are a small price to pay for the opportunity to have a venue, accessible to the local media, that reveals what is going on behind management's wall of secrecy. If we were led by principled command officers, then we could resort to other pursuits such as "getting a life." Until we do, we will continue to unmask the lies and the liars. Thank you LEOAFFAIRS!

Simply stated, the hours for the early sergeant start one hour before everyone else. For example, on the midnight shift the hours of the early shift are 8 pm until 6 am. We don't answer the phone before 8 pm because we aren't on the clock before 8 pm.

The other poster is right call your sgt on the cell and ask stop whining because he is not sitting right next to the office phone waiting for you to call in and try to get time off right before work... Heres another idea try planning ahead.
