The bikes are not stolen! Under Timoney's management doctrine, they are temporarily borrowed. Just like the missing firearms "borrowed" from property, when T$ first assumed command. Remember T$'s unforgettable quip to the media when the missing firearms case was exposed? "I remember an old lieutenant's advice: take care of the property kid, it'll always gets you." They ate it up!

So thats why they put out the city wide email.....

Unless you were of those that smoooooth talked a donated bike for yourself to ride while on patrol (or one of the VERY, VERY few that bought their own) then that bike ain't yours people!
