guess people would care more if becoming a sgt didn't make you such a power-mad jerk to everone around you. let that be a lesson to all current sgts and sgt wannabes.

I was never a fan and was glad when he got demoted and got the boot.
He made his choices in life and had to deal with them his own way. Karma is a *****.

I would like to think that your current bunch of sergeants are better people. Look at Burk and Stoney both are great chaps.

Cheers & stay safe my brothers to the south

Wow. Its truly sad that he hurt so many. I knew Craig when he was just a patolman and back then he was a great guy. He had his share of problems but he was ok in my book.

Later, yes after the Sgt. strips were attached, he changed and I agree with you all, the change was not for the good. Its truly a sad ending and such a waste.

Stay safe out there guys.

I knew Warner threw working the streets in St. Pete...Can anyone tell me what happened and when? Any information would be great if you have plus is there a calling time for him?

Thanks and Be Safe

On May 19th Craig took his own life. It occurred in Miami where he had been living for the past year.

The Miami Police reported he overdosed on prescription medication. He left a note saying he couldnt find work and was depressed.

So sad. I know he wasn't well liked in the end but we have to remember he was an officer and a brother.

May he rest in Peace.

He was an officer, but no brother of mine. He would write you up for petty crap or throw you under the bus in a heartbeat a brother would not do that. He was more of a sister anyways.

Good riddens

He is gone, try taking the high road and not speak ill of the dead. Just let him rest in peace.

K535 - very well said. I expected to see this kind of crap. Craig did have his faults, but we all do. The thin blue line just doesn't mean what it used to. There are an awful lot of bus drivers who will throw anyone under the bus to make themselves look good.

This is all very sad.

Btw.....the "sister" comment was a little over the top. Please try to be more respectful - comments like that just make you look foolish.

Be safe out there!

Craig had more than his fair share of faults, and the thin blue line only worked one way with him. I liked the sister remark, and you are a little over reactive cause I am sure that Craig would not mind now.

Craig would've been revered if he was a good cop, but he was a ticket-happy dude who got a special feeling out of someone getting a ticket or arrested. When he became a sergeant, he got a special feeling out of bossing his coworkers around, the same people that were his backup. He really got a special feeling when he realized how fun it was to cause IA's for other officers. Like someone else said Karma's a *****. You're next, chief.

Burk & Stoney???? Talk about dudes who can't make a decision!! A$$ ki$$ers to the extreme! Call the LT, call the LT!! and you know, i bet Mary's going to end up the next Warner. Think about it, same characterisics, right down to the lust for power and masculinity.

07-29-2008, 03:47 PM
whoa you cant tell me that warner was ever maculine. Being a fat turn is not maculine. But yes Mary will be taking his place.

07-29-2008, 06:39 PM
What the hell are you two talking about? She has not rail-roaded anyone. Bitter????

07-31-2008, 05:43 PM
yeah i think she railroaded ron

08-01-2008, 03:02 PM
yeah i think she railroaded ron

really?? do you know ron? that's funny bro.

08-05-2008, 02:38 AM
Ron railroaded himself. He didn't know when shut up. He wasn't a bad guy, but he created his own problems. It would suprise me if he was the one posting smack about Mary, Burk and Stoney. He was once heard to say that he should not have be supervised by any of those names because of his experience or whatever. Unfortunately he put himself in that position.

We here at CPD Communications (where Craig started out) are sad to hear about his passing. He was good at his job here and we cannot attest for when he left. Both he and Mary started here. Our thoughts are with him.

Craig overdosed? That sad news for me.

I went to high school with Craig. He was one of my best friends. I lost contact with him when I went to Pasco S.O.

When did this all happen?

Thanks
