What is it like?

I am going to apply for PCPD, and had a few questions.

How does you schedual work? Do you stay on nights or chnge back and forth? What hours and days do you work?

How do your vacation and holidays work out?

What do you average bringing home after health, retirement, taxes, etc.

Do you get overtime?

Can you get a lot of extra training?

Unless you can not get hired somewhere else - DO NOT APPLY HERE. We have a lot of good officers but we do not have support we need for raises, etc.. Seniority does not mean anything here so there is no incentive to stay. If you can go somewhere else you should. If you can't do like a lot of our current officers will do. Get hired here and get in a couple years experience and then go apply at a better agency.
