View Full Version : Too much cut-throat within the BSO

06-10-2008, 11:00 PM
Has the PBA gotten most of you deputies brainwashed? Must be, because you all fail to recognize that Al Lamberti was appointed by the Governor because Jenne was jailed. It was then Lamberti who inherited Jenne's budget for the remainder of the fiscal year. Then Amendment 1 was passed by the voters which not only was a black eye to Lamberti but to every county in Florida. The PBA has sabotaged the contract and Lamberti by promoting propaganda during this process. If anyone took the time to attend the budget hearing with the county commission and then watch the video you would know. Keep believing all the BS the PBA is telling you.

When your here long enough you realize they are in it for themselves. In the meantime, you deserve what you get. Politicians will promise you anything to win a vote. And mark my words, you will hear the promise of raises from Lemack, Israel, Udolf, and any other candidate for Sheriff. I hope you're rolling in the green backs when your candidate wins.

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence my fellow deputies. Wake up.

for many it is not about a contract or the small raise, it is about Al not changing the management of BSO. He allowed the powertrac managers to remain. He kept the upper bosses in place. He did not take the agency forward.

It is still a better place than it was.

06-10-2008, 11:17 PM
Come on, I guess you expected that to occur overnight? Some changes were made - You want to mention upper mgt., look no further than the most vindictive, J. Auer. He was one many wanted to see gone. I feel confident others will be moving on too, very soon. Let me ask you, has the current upper management affected your position personally since Lamberti has been in office? Or are you one of many who whines just to be heard?

So many employees to please and they all want change right away - I'm sure he's doing the best he can despite the challenges that lie ahead, i.e., County Commission, budget, election, etc., etc., etc.

More to say - When Lamberti took over this agency, Auer was one of the first to go. Lamberti then brought in one of the most experienced administrators Broward County has had, Ed Werder. Personally speaking it was a great move on Lamberti's part.

I had the opportunity to experience and participate in the Powertrac sessions with some very arrogant Major's and upper echelon (and I'm sure you know who they are). Of those people you are speaking of, have you heard from them directly or otherwise? I bet there wings have been clipped very short and tied to a short leash.

hey senior deputy. it sounds like you are a slug and Col. Auer did you wrong. This place would be running smoother with Col. Auer still here. Lamberi lost a well respected Col, Pesquera. He only quit because Lamberti left Wright in charge, who has a snails ass expirence to Pesqurea. I know for a fact this pissed off the latin deputies and latin voters. I hope this dosent bite Lamberti in the ass.........

The threats, rule by intimidation still exists. Its just not in the powertrac environment. Lamberti should have gotten rid of DW, LR, JC, RF, KT, and others a long time ago or at least moved them around.

What significant changes has he made, getting rid of Auer? You keep saying wait. Wait for what? Why not make the changes now if it will benefit BSO as a whole?

I'd rather work for Auer than any of them. Pesquera well respected? Hardly. Maybe a secretary or two but the man was clueless. And nasty and vindictive. What did he do for BSO? I know of absolutely nothing. I wonder what he did all day.

everybody hides behind Amendment 1....Ohh they cut the budget. Tell you what I'll take the same budget the county did. A 25% raise per year for four years, and the Ill take a 7% pay cut.

The budget went up over a billion dollars, and Now we are supposed tro give in because the county has to cut $80 million. Stand up to the Spend happy liberals and lets get what we deserve.

I would spit on your comments - Auer never did me wrong. Worked under him for many years as a Captain. Grow a set and get your head out of your anus.

Your obviously an Auer mud licker. Yea he was real fair, not.
If you kissed his mudhole then you got sweet jobs, promotion, and favortism. If your a hardworking deputy not in his circle then you were a lost cause.
Auer was not a fair man, he was just loyal to his entourage of mudhole lickers that followed him around.

This place is far more fair and much much better with out him

Your a Captain and your posting on LeoAffairs.........or are you now a Major? Don't you have some work to do?

I hear that Seminole is hiring and the Tribe needs a few good ticket writers and Hall monitors at the casinos.
