I am looking at agencies with various 10-12 hr. shifts for our agency. What is your opinion ref 12 hr shifts. We are hearing after 10 hrs, it gets tough and reaction time is much slower. Plus some agencies are showing an increase in officers sleeping after 10 hrs. Any opinions ? Also what about a 10 hr- 4 day work week instead vs what you have now ? What about time off ? Any other info would be appreciated.
