Glock 21SF .45acp vs. Beretta 96G .40s&w

*230 grain JHP vs 180 grain JHP
*13 + 1 capacity vs. 11 + 1
*factory standard trigger 5.5lb(everytime) vs Beretta DA/SA
*polymer mags(metal lining) vs rusty metal mags
* rail for attatching light vs no rail
*Glocks Tennifer finish is said to be the toughest finish out there.....my 7 Glocks back that statement.

Am I missing anything ?

Maybe in 1985 when a lot of people had revolvers, but if you go up against a bad guy with a 14 shot pistol you are screwed.

When they got hit by a wheel gun they usually didnt get back up. Im not the original poster about wheel guns but when I came on that was standard issue. I would take a python any time over this crap Baretta.

I have heard this excuse before: "Tprs are more prone to have an accidental discharge due to the Glock's light 1st round trigger pull."

That is why we will only carry DA/SA or DAO forever.

.45ACP? Forget it, won't ever happen.

THE GLOCK'S TRIGGER SHOULD NOT BE AN "A.D." ISSUE IF YOU DON'T TOUCH THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOU'RE READY TO PUT ROUNDS DOWN RANGE. THAT IS JUST A TRAINING ISSUE IF ANYTHING.

.45 ACP COULD HAPPEN....TELL 'EM I'M RIGHT COLONEL....

BUMP !

Have you seen some of these morons shoot? I would be even more scared at the range if we had Glocks.

Reference the "non-shooters" if while on the range it is discovered that they are a danger to the public or other troopers the instructors should take their weapon. There are no excuses. Also I am not a fan of them but Glock makes a "NY1" & "NY2" trigger set up that makes the pull either 8lbs. or 12 lbs. OR go the way of the Texas DPS....Sig Sauer P226 "DAK" in .357 sig. That would give you the DAO.
