national police chief search

has anyone seen the ad, or an ad via internet, newspaper etc. for the CHIEF of police for FT MYERS P D - were in mid-may and we need to close a deal on POLICE CHIEF soon...does anyone see former cape coral chief around lee county? ..i think he would be a good fit ..what do yoyu guy's and gal's think? :?:

did a little detective work seems the city mgr is NOT advertising the job but on a mission to find a CHIEF on his own..people watch out what you wish for ..an outside chief could turn our world upside down :cry:

I was told they spent $200K on a national search, not true..? you're right Should be in station 2, a new chief could turn our world upside down, maybe, maybe not, we'll have to wait and see, anything is better than what we got right now, time for a change

Let me say I agree, we need someone from the outside to restore credibility and confidence in the FMPD. The former police chief you mentioned would be an excellent choice!
