How many different dispatch centers are presently working all 12's?

Feedback: positive or negative? Pros/Cons?

My department works 5 eights with 2 consecutive days off that rotate back every few months. It is awful, for anyone who works mids and tries to "flip" to the real world's hours for a few days...

We hoped for 12's... variations on the same with every other weekend off... When I say "we" - that's many of us but then we all voted and it just didn't work out to be the majority :roll:

I think because of the nature of work we do each day, our personal time is so very precious (if not medically/mentally necessary)... I'd like to see 12's... get the job done on the days you're workin'... and more days off in between, to truly enjoy our time off.
