Door decals

I hear many of the other divisions are against the new badge being placed on the doors that will replace the current emblem?

Who cares what the other divisions think?

The other divisions think L/E is trying to separate from the agency. NO, just distinguishing ourselves as Law Enforcement from biologists. It is so embarrassing when someone thinks a biologist is L/E. But, pretty easy when they drive the same type & color vehicle (same emblem on door) and hey, even same type of rough duty uniform. Except, for the tie died hippies at FWRI. The only difference is the stripe pattern and L/E blue lights and markings. But, the general public doesn't pick up on that.

Law Enforcement lives by a higher set of STANDARDS than the other divisions!! period.

Anybody heard any news about when we're getting the badge decals on our patrol vehicle doors?

Waiting on the tailgate decal "PASS AT WILL, DRIVER NOT REAL POLICE"

The National Park Service has the same problem. The interpretive rangers wear the same as the LE rangers. I think this might be one of the reasons rangers are more likely to be assaulted than other LEO's. We have this in common with them. Heck even our Tango units look like us without the gun belt.

It doesnt matter, we arent the real police anyways and when we do take REAL POLICE action we are given grief about it. Oh well........
