The State Attorney's Office dropped charges filed against WPLG-TV Local 10 news reporter Jeff Weinsier stemming from his refusal to leave the sidewalk outside of Miami Central Senior High School, as it was determined that Mr. Weinsier was not actually on the school property when he was ordered to stop trespassing by school police. Isaac Mitrani, who was interviewed on air in the news in his role as the station's attorney, explained that Mr. Weinsier's constitutional rights were violated if he was ordered to leave public property while other individuals were allowed to remain.
