Academy Update:?

Is there anyone outthere that has any information regarding upcoming academy dates?????

I am hearing June - July - October....If anyone has any concrete info please post it.....

From what I'm hearing the next 3 classes were cancelled. Call the Training Bureau to find out.

From what I hear there will be 2 huge classes in October possibly a 3rd.

Word from my investigator is that they won't really know until after July 1st, that's when they'll know how much money they're getting.

How sure are you???????We just called headquaters on Friday 9, 2008 and they still said sometime in November.

The academy is in June guys!!!!!!!!

What about for laterals?

im putting in my app this week how long until i get through the whole process. i am hearing 10 months!!! :shock:

Anyone hear of any start dates for laterals? Will it be in June with the new academy class or what?

i thought laterals and self-sponsored FDLE certified recruits (no experience) were incorporated into an academy class that had 2 months left.....? MDPD's academy is 8 months right?

Rumor has it that the next academy might be pushed until next year :-(

there's a bunch of rumors floating around, just pass your tests and if you have, be patient.

I just got off the phone with my B.I. about something she needed from me and asked her about the academy class and she told me there are no new classes until late October or early November.

Is there any updates regarding Academy dates?

Sorry to inform you guys that the county is going on a hiring freeze and the next academy will not be until 2010:(

Then why were we sent notices showing upcoming test dates and oral board scheduling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm CONFUSED ARE YOU SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shock:

We'll know for sure in October, that's when they have their new budget.
