2008 Q1- PAT AAHARA (DEM) ZERO
S. SHAK DHANJI (DEM) $42.5K (LOANS $30K) ACTUAL $12.5K
SCOTT ISRAEL (DEM) $102.625.23 (LOANS $20K) ACTUAL $86,625.23
AL LAMBERTI (REP) $300, 590.13 (LOANS ZERO) ACTUAL $300,590.13
RICHARD LEMACK (DEM) $39,470.00 (LOANS ZERO)
WILEY THOMPSON (DEM) $19,760.00 ACTUAL $19,760.00
BRUCE UDOLF (DEM) $85,625.00 (LOANS $10K) ACTUAL $75,625.00

From a fund raising standpoint, it appears from the above numbers that Israel is the most productive Democratic candidate for the first quarter. Overall, Lamberti has Israel beat by $213,964.90. If Lamberti can maintain consistency for the remaining quarters before the general election, its possible he can raise at least $1million, which will literally give him a competitive advantage over his opponent. Generally, Lamberti is not facing an opponent for the September primary, therefore, he can concentrate on the general election. On the other hand, the Democratic candidates all must face-off in September, which means that their campaign funds will be exhausted fighting each other leaving the remaining candidate with a paltry amount of money to launch a successful campaign against Lamberti, who will, in all liklihood, have a serious war chest to compete against any Democratic opponent. In this particular case, perception is realty and Lamberti appears to have the advantage and will likely be the winner in November.

Ask Alfonse Demato who out spent his op 3-1, also in a demacratic area if this theory holds true. 6-months the boys are all gone.

And not soon enough. The reign of terror of Lamberti and his bunch of retarded retirees, with swollen scrotums from sitting at their desk chairs during their entire careers, needs to come to an end. Qualified to do nothing more than work the drive thru window at Taco Bell during fourth meal, I see great things in their future. Col's Ed and Tom will go work their plantations in Georgia, although it will bum them out when they get there and find out that slavery was outlawed during the Lincoln administration (when they started in Broward).

You mean E. Clay Shaw, who successfully held that seat in Congress for 26 years? You mean the one who lost his seat in 2006, the year that almost the entire country ousted many republicans because of Bush's low popularity? THAT Clay Shaw???.....bad example, just like your bad predictions Father Time.....all wishful thinking......more wishful, helluva lot less thinking!!!!

This is a "reign of terror"? Please.

I can make this short and sweet. You can talk all you want about E. Clay Shaw's demise and the demise of other republicans, but the truth of the matter is this: 81% of the American people do not agree with the way the country is moving. Republicans are defecting by the droves. There will be a democratic sweep of this nation like it has never seen before. The Congress is almost there--and will be there come November. This nation will be governed by either Obama or Clinton with a democratic Speaker, and democratic house and senate and we will try to repair the mess created by the right-wing neocons who want to invade yet another country before leaving office. When Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarborough start praising democrats, you know the republicans are in trouble.

As to the amount of $$$ raised, the republicans have one candidate--Lamberti. All republicans who want to remain republicans will vote for him and give him money. When the democratic dust has cleared, there will be one democratic candidate running against Lamberti with a machine propelling it into the stratisphere. Hide and watch. You republicans may not like what I say--but get used to it. It's our turn now!!!! :D
